Resolving Security Issues
Snoozing or Ignoring an Issue¶
When you click into an individual issue or group of issues you can either ignore or snooze the issue if you don't immediately want to address it.
Click the Actions button on the top right of the issue modal and you can
select the Snooze or Ignore option.
Snoozing an issue will hide it until a future date and is typically used for low priority issues or issues that you expect to be addressed in the near future.
Ignoring an issue should be used for false positives or issues that you do not
intend to fix. You can click into a previously ignored issue and choose to
"unignore" it by clicking on the Actions button.
Fixing an Issue¶
Sourcery will provide instructions on how you can fix any security issue we identify. Click into the issue on the dashboard to see the fix as well as any notes or considerations about the fix.
If you're working with an AI agent (eg Claude Code) you can click the "Fix for AI Agents" section to expand Sourcery's agent instructions. Click to copy the instructions and paste them into your agent of choice to start to immediately fix the issue.
When you fix an issue you can trigger a new scan of the relevant repos and if the issue has been resolved Sourcery will clear out the issue from your issues list.
